Our Values

Our Core Values are who we are. They are not just what we do, they are part of our DNA.

Our Board

The Eastlake Board provides spiritual leadership and governance to our church, distinct from day-to-day management, which is led by our staff. Their primary role is to support and hold accountable the Lead Pastor, helping ensure Eastlake remains faithful to its vision, mission, and values.

Board members focus on big-picture direction and purpose, bringing wisdom, prayer, and discernment to their responsibilities. Their leadership helps keep Eastlake healthy, mission-focused, and Christ-centred.

You can email the board at board@eastlakechurch.org.au

Our History

Eastlake Church (formerly Mandurah Church of Christ) has grown from humble beginnings. What began as a small group gathering in a member’s home eventually led to the construction of our first chapel, officially opened on 29 August 1959.

In 1990, the church moved to a new property on Teranca Road and experienced a season of rapid growth under the leadership of Ps. Aaron and Bron Edwards. As the church continued to expand, land was purchased on Lakes Road in anticipation of future growth. On 29 August 2004, we celebrated our first service at our current location and officially became Eastlake Church.

Once again, growth followed, and on 1 April 2007, we moved into the building we now call home. In 2019, a new chapter began as Ps. Aaron and Bron passed the baton of leadership to Ps. Josh and Leigh Edwards.

From our earliest days, Eastlake has been a community built on faith, generosity, and a deep love for its city. As we look to the future, our mission remains clear. We are Hope Traffickers, Jesus Followers and Your Local Church!
